🔹 John 4:23-24
“But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

🔸 Not himself, but the Father.

🔹 Matthew 4:10
“You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve.”

🗣 Yeshua says this directly when tempted by the adversary. He doesn't say “worship me” — He quotes Torah (Deut. 6:13) and says worship only YHWH.

🔹 John 17:3
“And this is eternal life: that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.”

🔸 Yeshua draws a clear line: God is the only true God, and Yeshua is the one sent by Him — not to replace Him, but to point people back to Him.

🔹 Matthew 19:17
“Why do you call me good? There is none good but one, that is, God.”

🧠 He humbles himself and redirects praise to God alone.
