Key Hebrew-Aramaic Truth
The Aramaic phrase from Daniel 7:13 —
"...וַאֲרוּ עִם־עֲנָנֵי שְׁמַיָּא כְּבַר אֱנָשׁ אָתֵה הֲוָה, וְעַד־עַתִּיק יוֹמַיָּא מְטָה, וּקְדָמוֹהִי הַקְרְבוּהִי..."
literally describes:
“...behold, with the clouds of the heavens came one like a son of man, and he came to the Ancient of Days, and they brought him before Him.”
- The phrase "מטה" (meta) means "approached" or "was brought near" — not "descended" or "came down."
- The vision is not about a figure descending to earth, but a figure being brought before Yhwh — the Ancient of Days — to receive dominion (verse 14).
