Emperor Constantine in 313 AD — Not the True Faith
In 313 AD, Constantine issued the Edict of Milan — a law that legalized religion across the Roman Empire. But this wasn’t The Way that Yeshua walked. It was a Roman-Greek version built on power, not covenant.
⚔️ What Did Constantine Really Do?
- He did not convert to The Way
- He did not keep the Sabbath
- He did not obey Yhwh’s Torah
- What he did do:
- Declared Christians could now worship without fear — but only those who followed the Roman-approved version
- Elevated church bishops into positions of government power
- Began funding the construction of church buildings — pagan-style temples in the name of Yeshua
- Unified church and state — something Yeshua never allowed
- Outlawed Torah-keeping groups over time, calling them “Judaizers”
💥 THE RESULT:
A new religion was born —
not from Jerusalem, but from Rome.
It looked nothing like the Hebrew faith of Yeshua, His disciples, or the prophets:
- Sabbath replaced with Sunday
- Passover replaced with Easter
- Torah replaced with creeds
- Hebrew scrolls replaced with the Greek Septuagint
- Yhwh’s name removed from the texts
📖 The true followers of Yhwh — those of The Way — were now called heretics.
They were hunted, silenced, and erased from history books.
But Yhwh never forgot them.
🛑 Constantine’s 313 Edict was not a victory for truth. It was a victory for religion.
