✅ Quote-Style Graphic (Text):
“In the beginning was the Word…” — but which Word?
The Hebrew Scriptures never said “the Word was God.”
That’s a Greek idea, not the message of Yeshua.
Worship YHWH alone — not Greek philosophy.
📖 Genesis 1:1–3 (Literal Hebrew Understanding)
בְּרֵאשִׁית בָּרָא אֱלֹהִים
Bereshit bara Elohim
"In the beginning, God created..."
There is no mention of a second being called “the Word” or “Logos.”
Only Elohim (God) — singular, one, the Creator.
וַיֹּאמֶר אֱלֹהִים
Vayomer Elohim
“And God said…”
Here, God speaks, and creation happens — His Word is His action, not a separate person.
יְהִי אוֹר – “Let there be light”
וַיְהִי אוֹר – “And there was light”
💡 The Word of God is His spoken power, not a person or partner.
In Hebrew, God’s word is not a second god — it is simply His will in motion.
❌ No Greek Logos, No Dual Godhead
The Hebrew Bible never says:
“The Word was with God”
“The Word was God”
“The Word became flesh”
These are Greek constructions, added much later to reshape the message.
🔥 Your Teaching Point:
The real beginning is in Genesis, not John.
The Word of God in Genesis is not a divine being — it’s the spoken power of the one true YHWH.
