Before Noah gets off the ark, there was NO LAW — but Yhwh destroyed mankind because there was nothing but RA in their hearts.

After the flood, Yhwh gave Noah 3 foundational commands for all mankind:

  • Do not eat blood
  • Do not shed human blood (do not murder)
  • Be fruitful and multiply (protect life)

The heart was judged before law was given.
Ra brings destruction even without written commands.

Yhwh gave Israel 10 spoken commands to shape a nation of righteousness.

  • They are easy to obey when the heart is right
  • Not ritual, not blood
  • Just walking in Tov
