Yeshua quotes Deuteronomy 6:13, commanding worship of YHWH alone, not himself.

KJV: “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.”

Yeshua corrects the man, denying his own goodness and pointing to YHWH; eternal life comes from keeping commandments, not belief in him.

Even in the KJV, Yeshua worships YHWH, obeys Torah, and redirects all honor to the Father. He quotes Deuteronomy 6:13 to affirm YHWH’s sole worship, denies his own divinity, and teaches that eternal life comes from keeping the commandments. There is no command to worship him, no Trinity in his words—only the Hebrew truth of YHWH’s covenant.
