๐น TORAH (FROM THE 4 TRUE SOURCES)
๐ Clear Commands from YHWH
Paleo-Hebrew, Aramaic, Early Square Script
๐ Deuteronomy 6:13
"Fear YHWH your Elohim, serve Him, and swear by His Name."
๐ Deuteronomy 10:20
"...To Him you shall cling, and by His Name you shall swear."
โ
Clear command:
You must proclaim, invoke, and swear allegiance by YHWH's actual Name โ not by heaven, not by titles, not by kings.
You must proclaim, invoke, and swear allegiance by YHWH's actual Name โ not by heaven, not by titles, not by kings.
GREEK NEW TESTAMENT (Matthew 5:34โ35, Greek Base)
"But I say to you, swear not at all, neither by heaven... nor by earth... nor by Jerusalem..."
Greek Word: แฝฮผฯฯฮฑฮน (omosai)
= to swear an oath
Spoken by "Jesus" in the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5) โ but this is not Hebrew teaching.
PROBLEM
-
1.YHWH commands swearing by His Name.
-
2.The Greek "Jesus" says do not swear at all โ not even by heaven, earth, or anything.
-
3.This contradicts Torah directly โ and cuts the people off from covenant language.
WHY THIS MATTERS
-
โข
Swearing by YHWH's Name is a public declaration: "I belong to Him, and I stand accountable to Him."
-
โข
If you remove this, you remove the power of covenant loyalty.
-
โข
The Greek NT message pushes Greek moralism โ not Torah obedience.
"I belong to Him, and I stand accountable to Him."
The Greek NT removes covenant language and replaces Torah obedience with philosophical moralism.
Final Word
YHWH Said:
Swear by My Name โ not by heaven, not by your head, not by a title.
Greek NT Says:
Swear not at all โ even though that directly opposes Torah.
The Greek New Testament contradicts Torah and removes the covenant language that YHWH commanded. This is not Hebrew teaching โ it's Greek philosophy replacing covenant truth.
