Why Did the Rabbinic Timeline Shrink History?

The rabbinic timeline, claiming the year is 5785 (2025 AD), intentionally shortens history by over 200 years compared to the Torah-based count of ~6025 years. This alteration was deliberate, designed to reshape history and disconnect it from Yhwh’s truth.

1. To Erase the Messianic Timeline

Torah-based timeline points to Messiah appearing around 4000 years after Creation (i.e., around 1 AD).

Early believers claimed Yeshua came right on time — fulfilling Daniel 9 and other prophecies.

Rabbis cut over 200 years (mostly Persian era) to disrupt the 70-weeks prophecy in Daniel.

• If the true year is 6025, Messiah already came.
• But if they say it’s only 5785, “Messiah is still coming.”

2. To Disconnect Torah from History

The Persian period (between Ezra and the Roman era) was trimmed down to 52 years by rabbinic editors.

Historical records (Babylonian, Persian, Greek) all say Persia ruled for ~200 years, but rabbis claimed just a few decades.

Why? So their calendar matched their oral law timeline — not reality.

This shortens the gap between Ezra and the Mishnah, falsely making rabbinic Judaism look continuous from Moses.

3. To Undermine the Early Hebrew Followers of Yeshua

In the 1st–4th centuries AD, Hebrew believers in Yeshua used the Torah-based timeline to show:

• The Daniel prophecy was fulfilled
• The Temple destruction matched warnings

Rabbis wanted to silence this. So they:

• Changed the year count
• Changed Daniel’s interpretation
• Burned or banned scrolls (Babylonian Talmud confirms this)

4. To Strengthen Control Through Rabbinic Authority

By creating their own calendar system, they took control of:

• Feast days
• Sabbaths
• End-time expectations

This allowed them to lead the people without prophets or Torah-based timelines, replacing them with oral rulings.

They created a system that fit their rulings, not Yhwh’s calendar.

The rabbinic timeline (5785) was shortened intentionally to:

• Break the connection to Yeshua's arrival
• Strengthen rabbinic authority
• Rewrite history around their own system

The true count — based on the Torah and the scrolls — points to 6025 today.

The rabbinic 5785 is a man-made edit, not Yhwh’s record.

1400 BC — Paleo-Hebrew Bible

Yhwh’s covenant was written in Paleo-Hebrew at Mount Sinai.

• No vowels
• No added commentary
• Pure covenant language

This is the true Hebrew Bible, before Babylon, before Greek, before Rabbis.

600– BC — Aramaic Writings

After the exile, parts of the Scripture (like Daniel and Ezra) were recorded in pure Aramaic, with no vowels.

• No changes to covenant language
• Still points to Yhwh
• Still no Greek influence

400– BC — Early Square Script (Ketav Ashuri)

The Paleo-Hebrew script was gradually replaced with the early Square Script, still written without vowels.

• Same Hebrew words
• No Greek insertions
• No Masoretic symbols

This is where the writing style changed, not the message.

250 BC — The Greeks Step In: Septuagint Created

The Greek-speaking Jews under foreign rule created the Septuagint (LXX).

• Yhwh’s Name was replaced
• Human sacrifice ideas were inserted
• Greek dualism crept in

This was not Hebrew. It was foreign, and it opened the door for Rome’s later control.

70–135 AD — Scrolls Hidden / Rabbinic Power Rises

After the Roman destruction of the Temple, Hebrew priests and faithful ones hid the true scrolls in Qumran (Dead Sea Scrolls).

Meanwhile:

• Rabbinic Judaism began rising
• True followers of Yeshua were hunted
• Pharisees took over what would become today’s Jewish leadership

This is when the war over Scripture began.

After 135 AD — The Rabbinic Rewrite

After the failure of the Bar Kokhba revolt (135 AD), the surviving Jewish authority was Rabbinic.

• They rejected the followers of Yeshua
• They began changing how the Torah was interpreted
• They claimed oral law had equal authority to the written Torah

200 AD — Mishnah Completed

First full rabbinic law code written down.

• Scripture now filtered through rabbinic rulings
• Began replacing the need for scrolls with man-made tradition

Still no vowel points yet — but it set the stage.

600s–900s AD — Masoretic Edits Begin

The Masoretes (Tiberias and Babylon) added:

• Vowel points (not from Yhwh)
• Cantillation marks
• Grammar that shifted meaning in hundreds of verses

They edited the early Square Script to form what we now call the Masoretic Text.

This was not the Paleo-Hebrew Bible, nor the Aramaic Scripture. It was a controlled version built to erase the voices of the early Hebrew followers of Yeshua.

900 AD — Finalized Masoretic Hebrew Bible

The Ben Asher family’s version became standard.

This is what all Modern Jewish Bibles use today:

• Square Script
• With vowel points
• With approved rabbinic edits
• Changed meanings of verses like Isaiah 7:14, Psalm 22, etc.

1500s Onward — Printed Jewish Bibles

With the printing press, the Masoretic version became locked in place.

Modern “Tanakh” editions — Artscroll, Koren, JPS — all use this as their base.

Most modern Jews believe they’re reading the same Torah Moses received from Yhwh. But what they have today is not the original covenant — it’s a controlled version, rewritten and sealed 700–1,000 years after the truth was first written.

What They Read Today:

• The Masoretic Text finalized around 900 AD by the Ben Asher family
• Written in Square Script with added vowels (niqqudot)
• Edited by rabbis to match post-Temple traditions
• Replaces Yhwh’s Name with “Adonai” or “HaShem”
• Alters key verses to deflect messianic claims and suppress older readings
