Understanding Yhwh’s Titles

The earliest West‑Semitic scrolls speak of Yhwh with titles that reveal facets of His character and authority. We present them in early script (proto‑Canaanite signs) and plain language—focusing only on the five scrolls of Yhwh’s Word, without later temple systems, priestly layers, or post‑exilic edits.

Why These Titles Matter

Kept in early script and plain meaning, these titles show a direct path: teshuvah (turning back), obedience, mercy, provision, healing — with no kings, no priests, no temple economy. They reflect the oneness of Yhwh and a people who answer Him personally. Only the first five scrolls are used here; later writings and post‑exilic systems are outside this view.
