Book of Hebrews: A Lie Not From YHWH

Before Rome Took Over

The early followers of YHWH didn’t need Greek letters to know the truth. They had the Torah, the prophets, and the words passed down through Hebrew and Aramaic scrolls. They knew the voice of YHWH — and they rejected anything that tried to replace it. Then came a scroll with no author, no witness, no prophet. A Greek scroll. A scroll called “Hebrews.” It spoke with high words but told lies. It said there was a new priest in the heavens. It said Yeshua was the final sacrifice. It said the Torah was only a shadow — that something better had come. But the true ones knew better.

Hebrews Was Rejected by the Faithful

The early assemblies who feared YHWH did not accept the book of Hebrews. The Peshitta, the oldest Aramaic Bible, did not include it. The Nazarenes and Ebionites rejected it — they kept Torah and followed the words of YHWH, not Greek myths. They used the Gospel of the Hebrews, Matthew, Mark, John, and James — not anonymous, mystical scrolls. They obeyed Deuteronomy 4:2 — “Do not add to or take away from My word.” They knew the book of Hebrews was not from YHWH — because it added things He never said.

Hebrews Teaches Against the Torah

The book of Hebrews is not just strange — it contradicts YHWH’s own words.

It says Yeshua is a heavenly priest forever — but Yeshua was not a Levite, and YHWH never made a new priesthood.
It calls Melchizedek eternal — but the Torah says no such thing. Melchizedek was a king of Salem. A man.
It says sacrifices were just a shadow — but YHWH said obedience is what matters, not sacrifice.
It rewrites the covenant using Greek philosophy, not Hebrew truth.
It promotes a spiritual temple and a blood-based religion that YHWH never commanded.

This is not a scroll of truth. It is a scroll of replacement — meant to undo the Torah and shift people away from YHWH.

Hebrews Was Pushed by Rome

The Roman Church made Hebrews part of their new religion — but it was never accepted by the true ones.

🔥 Tertullian (c. 200 AD) said Barnabas wrote it — not Paul.
🔥 Caius of Rome rejected it completely.
🔥 The Muratorian Fragment (~170 AD) left it out of the canon.
🔥 Even Eusebius (325 AD) called it “disputed” — antilegomena — “spoken against.”

It was not accepted until the Roman councils: Council of Laodicea (~363 AD), Council of Carthage (397 AD). By that time, the true scrolls were being pushed out, and Greek philosophy took over.

True Followers of YHWH

The faithful:

Rejected the book of Hebrews
Kept the Torah
Obeyed YHWH directly — not through priests
Did not follow Yeshua as a god or savior, but learned from him when he pointed to YHWH
Saw Melchizedek as a historical king — not eternal
Refused all Greek writings that erased the covenant

Final Truth

The book of Hebrews was never written by a prophet. It was never part of the Hebrew covenant. It was never accepted by those who feared YHWH. It was created to replace Torah with theology, to turn obedience into belief, and to shift the focus from YHWH to a man. The ones who walk with YHWH will always reject it.
