🔎 **WHAT DOES 1 ENOCH CLAIM?**

* Angels sinned by mating with human women (Genesis 6 reinterpretation)
* Giants (Nephilim) were born and corrupted the earth
* Enoch is taken into heaven, sees visions of judgment
* Introduces **heaven/hell dualism**, **immortal soul doctrine**, and **cosmic evil**
* Speaks of a **“Son of Man” preexisting** and judging the world

None of this comes from:
✅ Paleo-Hebrew Torah
✅ Early Square Script
✅ Aramaic Scriptures of Daniel/Ezra
✅ Dead Sea Scrolls Torah fragments

📛 **THE PROBLEM: GREEK INFLUENCE EVERYWHERE**

1 Enoch is loaded with **Greek-style dualism and myth**:

* **Good vs. Evil realms**
* **Heavenly punishment system**
* **Fallen angel rebellion** (not found in Genesis in Hebrew)
* **Apocalyptic visions** that match **Zoroastrian and Hellenistic imagery**
* The “Son of Man” in 1 Enoch does **not match** Torah’s idea of a prophet or servant

📖 **SOURCE EVIDENCE**

* Aramaic fragments of 1 Enoch were found in **Qumran Cave 4** (4QEn), dated around **200–100 BC**
* These scrolls do **not match Paleo-Hebrew** or **earlier Torah scrolls**
* The **Book of Watchers** (Chapters 1–36) is the **oldest section**, full of fallen angel mythology
* Later parts were added over time — **some likely after 100 BC**

🚨 **NOT WRITTEN BY ENOCH**

The real Enoch lived before the flood — Genesis 5:24.
1 Enoch was written **over 3,000 years after Enoch lived**.
Even Jewish scribes never accepted it into the Torah or Prophets.
Only the **Ethiopian Church** canonized it — 1,600 years later.
